Sowing under shelter

Sowing under cover is intended for all sowing that takes place before April. It would indeed still be too early to sow outdoors and your crops could freeze ...

Sowing technique under cover

  • Choose a place with a temperature above 10/12 ° and preferably around 15 °.
This place should be bright, preferably in a greenhouse, but the proximity of a window may be sufficient.
  • Take a special seedling compost whose presence of perlite will promote drainage and aeration.
  • Then sow your seeds using the seedlings in terrine.

Smart advice for sowing under shelter

  • A seedling under shelter should, ideally, have 12 hours of light per day!
